What is Xooloo App Kids?
It’s a child’s sandbox app that transforms your family tablet or smartphone into a safe digital playground for your little ones. It prevents them from accessing your device full functions by keeping them in their very own play zone where you pick what they see and have access to.
What age group is Xooloo App Kids for?
It’s great for toddlers and all the way to 8 years old.
Is my phone compatible for this app?
This app is compatible with all Android smartphones and tablet versions 4.0.3 and higher.
How do you install the app?
Download it from the Google Play Store and sign-up for an account.
How do I launch the app without putting my password in each time?
Simply go to the side menu, click on Administration and then Advanced settings and toggle the option labeled Launch Xooloo App Kids without your parent code. For your convenience this option is now enabled by default when you install the app

Can my child download new apps I have not approved?
No and they can not do in-app purchases either. What kids can do is request new apps in our game section. You will receive the request and can approve or dismiss the request. If you login with the Google account to the Play store from the email you received for the request, you can remotely install the new application for your child as it will be automatically white-listed once installed.
Can my child exit out of the application?
No, they must know your parent PIN code. Don’t give it to them! 😊
How do I exit out of the app?
Select Quit in the side menu and confirm your parent PIN code.
How to launch app kids at boot?
Simply go to the side menu, click on Administration and then Advanced settings and toggle the option labeled Launch Xooloo App Kids automatically. Please note that this is one of the premium features.
How do you define the game selection you display to my child?
It’s based on our selection which you can fine tune by selecting a specific age group under Administration / Wishlist.
How do I pick the contacts my kid can have access to?
Go into Administration / Phone and select the contacts they can have access to. Your kids can make calls by clicking on the little phone icon in App Kids. They will only be able to make and receive calls from contacts you selected. All other incoming calls will be directed straight to voicemail when App Kids is in use.
